From Cairns, I took a 2 hour greyhound down to stop number 2 -Mission Beach. Turns out, there's nothing to do here, so I spent two days at the hostel - which luckily had a pool as it was incredibly hot - hitting mid 40's both days. Main things to do around there are skydive (no thank you), or kayak - which I fancied but wasn't able to book while I was there.
Luckily, I met a couple of lovely people in my hostel who I have been travelling with since then so it was definitely worth it!!
